Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists is Hiring a Surgery Scheduler Near Fayetteville, AR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping systems.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule surgeries, coordinates schedule between Surgery Center and doctor's offices requests
-Scheduling any consults needed prior to the surgery as requested, i.e. cardiac clearance. and post operative appointments
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and medical staff to ensure smooth scheduling process
- Identifying additional OR time for surgeon separate and apart from block time as needed
- Provide support to the surgical team as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
